The painted wall surfaces need to be grounded by qualified personnel. The electrical installation, especially the residual current operated circuit breaker , grounding and equipotential bonding of the concerned rooms need to be state of the art.
Technical data:
Shielding attenuation: Attenuation of 37 dB in one layer, attenuation of 44 dB with two layers. The shielding attenuation is regularly tested in the manufacturer's own laboratory due to the standards ASTM D4935-10 and/or IEEE-STD-299-2006.
Perfect corrosion resistance: Most shielding products containing metal components are not adequately protected against corrosion. This shielding paint shields without metal particles using a mixture of carbons. Therefore it offers perfect corrosion resistance (no oxidizing) and long-term durability.
Application (coverage): Interior (7.5 m²/l), exterior (5 m²/l).
Underground: Interior and exterior: Excellent adhesion on various undergrounds like existing emulsion paints, sheetrock, wallpaper, cement, plaster, masonry, wood, etc.
Top coating: Preferably covered with plastic bonded, water-based emulsion paints, facade paints or silicon resin paints. Not applicable are pure mineral paints (clay, loam, chalk, silicate). Please find appropriate product recommendations in the technical data sheet. Due to the high adhesive tensile strenght (to ETAG 004 for EIFS-systems, minimum 0.08 N/mm²), applicable directly under pure organic plaster, no mineral pasters!
Grounding: Must be grounded! We recommend interior the grounding strap EB2 plus grounding set ESW or ESW+, for the exterior the fiber additive AF3 plus the grounding set ESA.
Ingredients: Pure acylic dispersion, graphite, water, carbon black, additives, preservative (MIT, BIT).
VOC content: 0.2 g/l (EU limit value for category A/a is 30 g/l as of 2010).

Fibre additive AF3
The HSF55 shielding paint is made without conductive carbon fibres, so that they can be airlessly sprayed. For a crack bridging for a better grounding it can be mixed with the fibre additive AF3.
HSF54, RF Shielding Paint, Liquid, 1 Litre
Low- emission and vapour diffusion open special paint for widely shielding high frequency (RF) electromagnetic radiation, low frequency electrical AC fields and for discharging electrostatic fields. Contains only carbon, no metals.
To be processed with roll or paintbrush.
Adheres to all common indoor grounds after appropriate preparatory work and can be overpainted or overpapered.
HSF54 has low emission and is free of solvents, softening agents, ammonia, residual monomers, heavy volatile compounds or halogen organic compunds etc.
The shielding paint is supplied in containers of 1 litre or 5 litres volume in liquid state.
