This high-quality broadband receiver combines precise readings display with the acoustic analysis of the received signals and also ranks in the price range of less than € 500.
The sensitive receiver is able to measure potentially harmful high frequency/microwave radiation from continuous or digitally pulsed transmitter signals. The receiving antenna for this is integrated in the device.
With the Safe and Sound 2 you can identify the sources of high frequency electromagnetic pollution in an environment and measure and identify them e.g. as
2G, 3G, 4G and 5G communication devices and stations as well as TETRA, DAB-T DECT, WiFi, Bluetooth and Radar signals.
Of course, it is also possible to use this device to test the functionality of such transmission systems.
The immission values are given as power flux density in microwatts per square metre (µW/m²).
The device has a built-in loudspeaker with 3 switchable volume levels for acoustic analysis and identification.
Each RF signal source has its own unique sound characteristics.
In addition, the measured values obtained are evaluated using LEDs in traffic light colours according to building biology guidelines.
In this way, you can find out whether the readings are low, moderate, high or extremely high.
