BD test to determine steam penetration in the steam sterilizer.
The EBI 16, together with the optional interface set SI 2150 (IF 150 and evaluation software Winlog.med), forms an easy-to-use and very reliable electronic measuring system. This enables a comprehensive routine check of steam sterilizers to be carried out using the alternative Bowie & Dick test in accordance with EN 285 / DIN EN ISO 17665.
In addition to checking the steam penetration, the relevant sterilization parameters are also checked. A vacuum test can also be carried out with this device. The EBI 16 is designed to ensure use for 1,000 cycles or 3 years without calibration or service.
The EBI 16 records the steam penetration by measuring physical quantities and evaluates the cycles automatically.
All measurement data is saved in a database together with the report.
