Magnetic Field (DC)

The compass, the magnetometer and the Gauss meter are measuring instruments for the north/south poled earth's magnetic field, for permanent magnets and for artificial magnetic fields, produced by direct current (DC). Thus, the direction and strength as well as changes of magnetic DC fields can be measured or the presence of magnetic fields at all.
