The portable TERA Ohmmeter TOM 600 is ideal for mobile use in industrial areas thanks to its compact design and battery operation. However, it can also be operated stationary using the power supply connection.
Since the resistance values depend very much on the humidity and the room temperature, these influences are measured and saved together with the resistance value. This ensures a reproducible measurement.
The TOM 600 works according to the current-voltage measurement method. To adapt to specified standards (IEC, EN, DIN, VDE etc), the prescribed measuring time can be set manually or can be switched automatically with the measured value.
If Timer=ON, the measured values are saved as average or lapse values in the internal EEPROM after the end of the measuring time. This means that they are retained even after the device is switched off and can then be read out again at a later point in time via the PC interface.
The included Pc software makes it possible to operate the TOM 600 under computer control. Measurement results can be managed or further processed.
The internal memory for a maximum of 30 readings can be read out via a USB interface using the "KL_ReadOut" software included in delivery. This program also allows complete presetting of all required parameters as well as "ONLINE operation". The readings can be saved and printed out.
