Sampling oscilloscopes are special instruments for the display of periodical, repetitive signals with frequencies up to the GHz range.

With the sampling principle (ETS = Equivalent Time Sampling) the signal to be displayed is sampled point by point. The single points are aligned for the display and then result in a curve of the signal.

The sampling scopes offered here are designed for the connection to a computer via the USB port, and thus are working as PC hosted instruments, combined with the supplied comfortable PicoScope software.

The Model PicoScope 9201A has got electrical inputs and a USB port.
