    The new 8-channel USB oscilloscope from Pico Technology offers the perfect solution for advanced multichannel electrical/electronic applications such as power supply monitoring, or parallel serial bus analysis,  as a digitizer in physics research applications such as laser puse recording, LADAR imaging, using the SDK to develop customer's own applications tailored to customer's needs.

    The PicoScope 4824 with its compact and rugged housing has a 12 bits resolution, a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 port and an integrated 14 bits arbitrary waveform generator (AWG).
    The new 8-channel PicoScope has the same compact design as the established 2- and 4-channel Pico models and it is a fully adequate replacement for voluminous desktop oscilloscopes.
    Like all PicoScopes the 4824 is compact, lightweight and excellently suitable for mobile applications.
    The power supply is done completely via the USB port despite the high performance so that a bulky external power supply is not needed.
     
    With eight highly precise and low noise inputs, 20MHz bandwidth and sensitivity of 2 mV/DIV this scope is suitable for a large range of applications like the power supply start sequencing, decoding and synchronized display of in/outputs and 7-channel audio signals, 3-phase voltage and current measurements as well as for multi-phase motor drives. 
    The max. sampling rate of 80 MS/s, the generous buffer memory of 256 MS and the data streaming enable the user to capture detailed timing dates over longer time periods.
     
    The PicoScope 4824 standardly offers comprehensive functions, among others an FFT spectrum analyser with 20MHz, a segmented memory (for up to 10,000 samples in less than 30 milliseconds), math channels, automatic measurements, a colour persistancy display, advanced digital triggering, mask limit tests and serial decoding (SPI, I2C, I2S, RS-232/UART, CAN, LIN und FlexRay). A free Software Development Kit is supplied which enables you to develop your own applications in various programming languages like C, Microsoft Visual Basic®, National Instruments LabVIEW® and MathWorks MATLAB®.
     
    The comfortable PicoScope software is also supplied with the scope.
