- 5 years warranty
The 4 models of the new ultracompact oscilloscopes of the PicoScope 2400AB series from Pico Technology have just the size of a passport and are only 19cm thick. These PC oscilloscopes with a power supply via the USB port and with bandwidths from 25 to 100 MHz and with an arbitrary waveform generator are 80% smaller than the PicoScopes of the predecessing generation. Thus they are perfectly suited for the use underway and fit into each work coat pocket or laptop case, while they offer all functions and the power of traditional desktop oscilloscopes.
The technical data enclose a sampling rate of max. 1 GS/s, a settable analogue offset over the whole input range and a fast USB streaming with up to 1 MS/s for the capturing of waveforms with up to 100 million samples. The integrated signal generator can be used as a standard function generator (sine, square, triangle and other signals) with programmable sweep mode or as a full functional arbitrary waveform generator with 12 bits and 20 MS/s.
Despite their compact sizes the 4-channel oscilloscopes provide a whole range of functions as a standard via the supplied comfortable PicoScope software, such as a FFT spectrum analyser, a segemented memory for up to 48,000 samples at fast recording, math channels, automated measurements, a coloured persistence display , advanced digital triggers, mask limit testing and serial bus decoding (1-Wire, ARINC 429, CAN, DCC, DMX512, Ethernet 10Base-T, FlexRay, I2C, I2S, LIN, PS/2, UART (RS-232, RS-422, RS-485), SENT (FAST/SLOW), SPI and USB 1.1).
In addition to the Windows software there are also software versions for Linux and Mac OS X available
A free software development kit with example codes is supplied with the instruments, which allows your own applications to be developed in languages like C, Microsoft Visual Basic®, National Instruments LabVIEW® and MathWorks MATLAB®. This makes them ideal for a wide range of OEM applications such as power system and machine health monitoring, high-energy physics, and medical electronics applications.
