GM-42, Mid Range Gamma Radiation Detector
Description
GM-42, Mid Range Gamma Radiation Detector
The GM-42 detector is a probe with Geiger-Mueller tube for the detection of mid range gamma radiation.
It is an external probe for a ROTEM radiation meter RAM DA-3-2000.
The combination of the RAM DA-3-2000 survey meter wit the GM-42 detector allows highly efficient radiation measurements over a large range..
This detector makes an excellent choice for maintaining the highest safety standards in industrial, medical research, environmental and public safety applications.
A low voltage interface connects the meter and detector, therefore each detector contains the appropriate GM tube and high voltage power supply, pulse shaper, GM saturation indicator, detector identifier and malfunction detection circuitry. This configuration minimizes noise, improving sensitivity and stability.
The GM-42 can be connected to the meter via optional cables with different lengths.
