GEWAS 300 FG, Water Monitor in a Field Housing, without Sensor

Versatile alarm and protection device for wall mounting with universal input (screw terminals) for different external sensors. All sensors with a switching threshold of <100 kOhm can be connected, e.g. water sensors, float switches, level switches, magnetic contacts etc. In the event of an alarm the potential-free relay output can trigger an external alarm or a connected device (pump, machine) can be switched on or off.

In addition, an internal acoustic alarm sounds on the GEWAS 300 FG.

The Reset button must be pressed to clear the alarm.

The water monitor is well suited for the detection of conductive media (water etc.)

Weakly or non-conductive media (oils or fatty liquids) and media that form conductive foam or that build up an electrically insulating deposit on the electrodes are less suitable.

The measuring method for level detection is based on the conductive principle, i.e. the electrical conductivity of the medium is monitored. If the switching amplifier detects a value lower than the preset conductivity, the status "medium detected" is output.

If the power supply fails, the internal battery is automatically switched over.

The battery status is indicated by the "BAT" LED.
