Magnetex, Metal Sheet for Shielding of Magnetic Fields
This "transformer metal sheet" which has a high magnetic conductivity, enables a cost-efficient and effective shielding of magnetic DC and AC fields.
With one simple coating of the radiation source, a shielding of 70 to 80 % can be reached. For your explanation: the magnetic field lines concentrate more easily via the transformer metal sheet, which has a high magnetic conductivity. The magnetic field rather flows via the Magnetex sheet than via the ambient air or via building materials or other materials.
The Magnetex shielding sheet has a very high magnetic permeability. It consists of more than 96% iron and ca. 3% silicon. The high magnetic conductivity of this grain oriented iron- silicon alloy mainly is created by the cubical space centering of the crystal grids. The cube edges of the crystallites are oriented in that way during the manufacturing process by special rolling and nealing processes, that always four cube edges are abutting. A so called cube edges texture is created, enabling the auspicious magnetic features.
